Imagine the following scenario: It's a rainy Sunday evening, you're relaxing in front of the TV with a packet of crisps/popcorn/M&Ms, watching your all-time favourite movie. All of a sudden it happens: commercial break – oh, not again!
Another one: You flip through your beloved fashion/gossip/sports magazine and halfway through, you realise that around 50% of the pages is pure advertising – kind of annoying, isn't it?
Why am I telling you all this? That's easy – because I count myself among those few poor creatures who actually like seeing ads and sometimes I even start to feel that (especially in the TV case) I enjoy the ads more than the actual program.
So here's the thing: for years I have been trying to convince my friends and family that advertising is in fact not that terrible, you just have to see it from a different perspective...
But don’t worry, I’ll also show you the really bad stuff – because this is where the fun’s at, right?
